1. Class Rules: Class rules are simple.

I expect all students to be dressed and ready to participate.

Everyone should have safe athletic shoes or shoes with laces.

You should not come to class eating, drinking or chewing gum.

2. Rules of Conduct:

I expect students to be courtious and respectful to one another. We as human beings have the ability to choose right from wrong. At age 12 students know this and I expect that if you do not like or are having an issue with another student to talk to me. I can help you move to a different seating area or help in another way. Ultimatly, you have to power to be the best you can be. Communication with me is a must.

3. Grading

Grading is based on improvement of skills, quizes, test, and citizenship. Citizenship is represented by: TORRCH (trust, openness, respect, responsibility, communication, and honesty). Cheating is the worse thing you could do in my book. I expect you to be honest with yourself. You can only lie, or harm yourself, when you are dishonest.

4. Dressing out- If the locker room is open--we are dressing.

5. Parent/teacher Communication- Very important. Refer to torrch.

6. Illness Excuses- You must give a doctor note if you do not participate other wise your grade goes down.

7. Locker Information-- Talk to the teacher if you are having an issue.

What you need to do for Class:

A) Purchase physical education attire.

Announcements: 5/06/2009: We will be opening a wellness center here on campus which will have a dance dance revolution, free weights, machines and an area where you can stretch. It will be open to the public very soon(no date yet) but believe me it will be soon. It will be located in the dance room. We will have a ribbon cutting ceremony on 5/26/09 in the gym during 4th period. This ceremony will be to thank the people who gave us the equipment. I hope all students will be thankful and represent our school in a respectful manner.

I do not know if the fitness center will be open during the summer but I will post it if it is.
